1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Locality. By using the Platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. User Accounts

• You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must not create multiple accounts to evade enforcement actions.

3. Platform Use

Users may:

• Post content
• Follow other users
• Send and receive private messages
• Join and create communities
• Post local news articles
• Create and attend events
• Sell items via our marketplace
• Complete surveys

You may not:

• Post offensive, illegal, or misleading content
• Harass or abuse other users
• Upload content you don't have rights to

4. Content and Moderation

You retain ownership of any content you post, but grant Locality a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content on the Platform.

We enforce a 3-strikes policy for offensive or inappropriate content:

• Strike 1: Warning issued, content removed
• Strike 2: Final warning, content removed
• Strike 3: Permanent suspension of your account

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion.

5. E-Commerce and Payments

Locality provides tools for users to buy and sell items. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We are not responsible for disputes between buyers and sellers but may assist in resolving reported issues.

6. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, branding, and content provided by Locality remain the property of Locality. You may not copy or misuse them.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time if you breach these Terms.

8. Disclaimers

We provide Locality "as-is." We make no guarantees of uninterrupted service and are not liable for any loss or damage from using the Platform.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and applicable GDPR regulations.
